We could not have been happier with the outcomes of her work, as well as the process. Galadriel is very well organised, provided us with a clear timeframe, kept every deadline and was always available for questions, comments and corrections. She also proved to be flexible when we had to make additional changes, going above and beyond what we had initially agreed on.
Galadriel was the staff graphic designer at ELG (a company that provides therapies and special education services for children) in Shanghai from October 2016 to February 2017. Unfortunately, she left: China at that time and we were very disappointed to lose such a talented, passionate, and creative woman on our team. As Galadriel’s direct supervisor, I had the pleasure of managing her. She has a fantastic attitude, is open to suggestions, and is always willing to ask for input when needed. At the same time, she can work independently and efficiently to complete projects to a high standard and on time.
Galadriel employed her diverse skills beyond the attributes of her position, delivering wonderful graphic design materials for online and offline use, conceptualizing a new logo for the organization, creating booklets, posters and branded merchandise. This was not only a valuable asset for the organization, but further proof of Galadriel’s commitment to a work-place whose values she shared. Beyond these laudable attributes, what is perhaps most remarkable about Galadriel is her sense of social responsibility and spotless ethics. From making our office recycle-friendly, to her deep commitment to empowering marginalized voices, women’s equality, LGBTQI inclusion and diversity in general she is a true torch-bearer for social solidarity and held our entire team to this standard. She will never sacrifice what is complex for what is easy; what is true for what looks good; what is important for what is convenient.
Nous avons eu l’opportunité de travailler avec Galadriel Goldberg Vorrnès entre mai et fin juillet 2020, dans le cadre de l’élaboration du rapport ·institutionnel 2019 de l’organisation.
Galadriel a travaillé de manière consciencieuse et efficace sur la présentation graphique du document, sa mise en page et sur la conception d’infographies et de tableaux.
Elle a été de bon conseil, force de propositions et surtout à l’écoute de nos orientations. Elle a nous a permis d’aboutir à un document de qualité, dont la présentation fait écho à l’identité visuelle de l’organisation, tout en permettant une lecture agréable et dynamique malgré la densité d’informations qui y sont présentées.
